International Visual Sociology Association Discussion List
The IVSA list is established by the International Visual Sociology
Association to promote the study and use of visual materials as data,
as complementary information, and as illustrative material, in the
pursuit of sociological work.
We hope to establish a forum for the discussion of visual meaning, in
which scholars and practitioners in any field might feel welcome. In
particular, besides sociologists, we invite anthropologists,
communications scholars, education researchers, historians,
photographers, photo-journalists, and psychologists to participate.
