Friends,

Are you interested in more actively building the social movement for
Restorative Justice reforms?

The Board of Directors of the Campaign for Equity-Restorative Justice
(CERJ) will next meet on Friday, May 8, 1998, in New York City. The
scheduled time of this meeting is from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We are
currently seeking confirmation of the meeting site -- please watch your
email for confirmation, but if you're interested in the meantime, please
note the date and time in your datebooks.

Any CERJ mailing list subscriber or other interested person is encouraged
to consider service on the organization's Board of Directors -- we have an
ambitious Board recruitment plan in place, with several vacancies at the
current time. Please RSVP if you think you may come -- we would love to
know in advance if you can either attend as a visitor or even join the
Board of Directors!

This Board of Directors -- the legal governing body of the CERJ
organization -- meets three times a year in New York City, on the second
Friday of January, May, and September. There are no particular
requirements of education or experience to serve. All are welcome to our
meetings!
