CALL FOR STUDENT PAPERS
for the 1998-99 edition
Alternative expressions of sociology facilitate the communication of ideas
that defy traditional expression.
The Journal for Social Discourse is a forum for work including short
stories, poetry, nonfiction narratives, photo essays, line drawings, humor,
and cartoons created by students on topics of relevance to sociologists.
Topics include, but are not limited to, sociology as a profession, academia,
teaching sociology, social dynamics, social statics, social psychology, and
current social issues.
* Deadline for submissions is December 1, 1998
* Narratives must be typed, doubled spaced
* Include your name/affiliation/academic status only on the cover letter
(not on the work itself)
* Include two hard copies and one in text-only or Word format on diskette
