A while ago, I heard a stat (can't remember the source), that said
something like, 82% of all dollars collected by the government for
Welfare (or was it Social Security or...?), are kept by the Government
for "overhead", while the intended recipients get only 18%.
Anyone know of this stat, what the correct numbers are, and who
documented it?
