Hi Teresa,
I'm using 2.50 and I'm able to use EVE....no problem.....
When you add an indentity did you configure it??
Go back to your identities and click on Edit and make sure all
the configurations are right.

select it with double-click, then I see in v.2.52 a text "EVE:
Identity switched to Postmaster".
