>>I recently discovered COLLEGE PHYSICS by Vincent Coletta and plan to use it
next year. It has a wide variety of problems at several levels of difficulty
and seems to emphasize biological and sports examples somewhat. The
illustrations and diagrams seem very helpful in terms of visualization by
students and it seems to weave the topics together very well. It is published
by Mosby and I think students who are capable of Merrill will be able to
manage this book.

Can anyone supply information on how to get a copy of this book? I can't
find this publisher or the book anywhere.
Thanks

No, it was I who said that, in response to David.

Mosby is still in St. Louis, where they've been for a long while. My copy
of Coletta's _College Physics_ 1995, gives the address as

Mosby-Year Book, Inc.
11830 Westline Industrial Drive
St. Louis, Missouri 63146

Its ISBN is 0-8016-7722-X

So far, using it this summer, we've found no serious problems with the
book. We've found one error: Problem 10-9 has incomplete information. It
should give the height of the point of application of forces F and P. Now
*if* one assumes they are the *same* height (as the picture seems to show)
the problem can be solved. However, the answers given in the back are
wrong for that assumption.
