Hello,

I apologize for any duplicate postings you may receive
concerning this conference.

WILSWorld '96 will be held here in Madison, Wisconsin on
June 12th and 13th. This year we are including a number of
speakers on digital preservation in addition to our usual
Internet fare. We have a fine set of nationally-known as
well as local speakers.

Although I hate to single out one program and speaker for
special attention, I will in this case: Mary Levering,
Associate Register of the Copyright Office will discuss the
report "Intellectual Property and the National
Infrastructure." This is a particularly important session
for anyone interested in intellectual property issues as
affected by the emerging electronic world.

Information is available on the Web at
http://www.wils.wisc.edu/events/ww96/wilswld.html

For those of you unable to access the Web but with e-mail,
send a message to:

upda...@milkyway.wils.wisc.edu

and you will automatically receive a list of sessions.
Print brochures are available from me; you can request them
by calling me at the phone number listed below, or sending
me an e-mail message.

Tell your friends and colleagues! Although the "official"
deadline is June 3rd we will continue to accept
registrations until we hit capacity.
