Never attempted printer intalls this way. Is "re-boot always" checked off in
the app details?

The normal install form wich the snapshot is created does not need a reboot.

for example

I am installing a printer using a snapshot created form add printer, network
print server . if i run the application created with this snapshot the printer
only appears after a reboot.

The same goes for changing the display refresh frequency.

it is not that it reboots automaitcaly, but afther the install you don't
see any printer . after a reboot the installed printer is visible and
works.
