snapshot install needs reboot normal instal does not

Is there a way to refresh NT workstation after installing something
from a snapshot in order to let it work without a reboot ?

The normal install form wich the snapshot is created does not need
a reboot.

for example

I am installing a printer using a snapshot created form add printer,
network print server .
if i run the application created with this snapshot the printer only
appears after a reboot.

The same goes for changing the display refresh frequency.
