Looking for a mailing program with NW 3.12 and Windows - Need Info

Hey,

we have problems with our NW 4.01 server. After a workstation
hangs with open files (not a problem of NOVELL), it was not
possible to login to network after rebooting. Also we could
not delete the connection in the monitor program of the
server console. What can I do ? Please mail me your informations !

How about Pegasus Mail for Windows, can't beat the cost. Personally
and professionally, it handles everything I think anyone needs in an
email program. My hats off to David Harris (the author), he's put alot
of effort into this application and the entire family of apps that work
with it.

I would be interested to know too. We have very similar symtomps, except you
cannot see the connection in the monitor console anymore, but if you use :
nlist user /a
it says the user is still logged in. However using bindery switch (nlist
user /a /b) indicates the user is no longer logged in.
Of course you can get around this by increasing the number of concurrent
connection, but this does not solve the original problem.

There are many third-party MHS-compatible applications available, both
Windows and not-Windows.

All of the ones that Novell knows about are listed in the _MHS Solutions
Guide_. You can get a copy of the _Guide_ by contacting your Novell reseller
or Novell Product Information at 800-NETWARE (801-429-5588) (or you might
contact Novell's European Support Center in Duesseldorf and see if they
can get you one). The _Guide_ is also available from ftp.novell.com,
/pub/netwire/novlib/08/sguide.exe; this is a 1.6MB PostScript file, so
you'll need PostScript printing capabilities.
