This makes no sense. We have multiple HP4000N printers but only two are printing a page AFTER the print job that contains 5 lines. Each line starts with @PJL SET JOBATTR= and then list the JobDesc, DocOwner, DocOwnerID, SrcQ and DocSize.

I have examined the printers in HP JetAdmin and can't fine anything about a banner page (which should print before the job, right?) or any type of infomation page. The printers are services via ATPS with BANNERS turned OFF, but the pages still print.

Any ideas?

Try looking in the app that's sending the job to the printer. For instance,
in word there is an option to "include summarry", which prints a page that
looks simalair. -shrug- look around, I'm sure you'll find it = ). Just
remember, with printers, allways slow, deep breaths. (jus kidin ya)

PS> Where is the data for the fields 'DocOwnerID' or 'DocOwner' coming
from?

I may be wrong but my experience has been that the settings at the actual physical printers always override other settings. Only last week one fellow admin was unable to find why one HP color laserjet was printing a test page before each print job. Settings in jetadmin, NWADMIN & loacal print device on NT box showed no such setting. Turned up that the hardware setting at the actual printer was the cause of this.

The DocOwnerID is a nine digit number - no idea where it came from
The DocOwner is the Macintosh computer name.

I'd go back to JetAdmin and verify that print job language is not
turned on for the PS device. On our HP4000 units with Jet Direct
cards we turn this stuff off and do not have these lines.

Sometimes it gets turned on by accident when the humidity takes
over... or some other excuse... <g>
