The purpose of the mailing list is to discuss topics related to the
use and implementation of WWW for Corporate Information Systems.
Corporate Information providers could put internal documents
available only to the internal community making possible, for every
users with a tcp/ip connection and a www browser, to use just one
tool to access several types of data, such as employee telephone
number and office address, or search for all employees at a location
or browse documentation without having to learn new or different
query tools.
