From time to time I'm asked to recommend reading material regarding the
Internet for senior executives and others in decision-making positions.
These individuals are interested not in technical works, but in books that
illustrate ROI benefits of spearheading e-commerce, intranets, and other Net
technologies. One book I've been favoring is Chuck Martin's "The Digital
Estate" (McGraw-Hill); however, the 1997 edition is showing its age (it
sings the praises of Nets Inc., for instance).
Can anyone recommend other, more up-to-date books that, like "The Digital
Estate" would be an informative, business focused, relatively quick read for
a corporate or institutional decision-maker?
Thanks!
