I have recorded this mornings Macedonian Radio show
from Toronto, MAKEDONSKI SVET with Gordan Jovanovski.
The recording is 60min, but I posted it in 2 parts.
Part 1 (first half hour) - Music, News, Advertisements. (1.7mb)
Part 2 <second half hour) - Music and Pozelbi (1.9mb)
The recordings are clear and clean to listen to and was recorded
in RealAudio 14.4.
You can dload the radio program from:
http://user.centrenet.on.ca/stevce/horizon
It MAY be posted later for Real Audio streamed listening at:
http://vukovar.unm.edu/mk-radio
Happy Listening...and PLEASE e-mail me if you listened to the
broadcast or dloaded it so I can have an idea about how many people
listened to the postings for future reference. If I can gain enough
listeners, I may be able to find support to purchase a Real Audio
Server that would allow ALL listeners to listen to the radio program
without dloading it, AND provide LIVE broadcasts of the local radio
programs from Toronto.
BUT TO DO THIS I NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Pozdrav,
Steve Saragil

Steve, I don't know if you got my previous message, but the offer is
still open. I just want to reiterate, I'm not trying "monopolize" on
any name or anything, I just figured since we were part of the same
community we could participate some how - not necessarily directly.
By the way, congrats on the effort you put into putting the shows on
the Internet. By the way, I can listen to the broadcasts using HTTP
streaming (not using an RA server - and it sounds pretty reasonable
aside from a couple of delays...)
Let me know if you need any help.

Sorry I didn't reply to the first msg, its just I've been so busy with
work, doing my dads web page and actually having some sort of a social
life that I sometimes forget to reply to mail. About working together
on a web page, no problem. Its just a time factor. I don't have any
way to SCHEDULE time to do anything and if I do have time its when I just
sit down and mess around on the computer. Lately, since I work on a
computer 12 hrs a day at work, the last thing I want to do is even touch
a computer when I come home.

Thanks. I figured out a way to encode while listening with the new
RealAudio encoder that it makes it painless with no time constraint on me. :)
But now that I work until 8:30pm, I'll be missing Dragica's program for the
next month. HOW do you listen to the broadcast using HTTP streaming? I've
never heard of that before. Tell me exactly how you do that so I can try it.

No problem. I'd love eventually to maybe get a RealAudio server going to
stream it out to over 50 ppl at a time, but this would all depend on interest.
Keep in touch,
Steve
Actually, I read about it on the info page of RealAudio. Which just
means you can listen to the audio without downloading it first. The
only problem with it is that you have to open RealPlayer and select
the "Open File" option and type in the URL and name of the file.
It's a little inconvenient at first, but it's better than dl'ing the
whole file. Give it a try.

I've always thought about this, but wouldn't it screw up the 100M/mo.
transfer limit of your ISP?
