z/OS 1.13 ... we have JES2 job reclassification process utilizing JES2 exits.   When a job is submitted from TSO, depending on CPU time parameter, the JOBCLASS is modified.  Initiator scheme is set up to have JOBCLASSes rotate so that we can get application development work processed quickly.  We applied z/OS maintenance (with JES2 maintenance) 1506 and reclassing is not working.  If JOBCLASS is not defined on JOB card, but TIME is, then reclass works.  If JOBCLASS is coded on the JOB card, then that class is used for the job.  We've lost our JES2 expert and we're trying to quickly identify which JES2 exit might be referencing JOBCLASS.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

You might want to open a case with IBM. They may be able to assist.

The JES2 EXITS manual will list all the exits and what they do

$DEXIT will list all your exits and if they are active.

Managing job class via an exit is normally done in JES2 via an input or converter exit. Input (internal readers) would be exit 52, maybe 53, or 50. Converter would be exit 6 or exit 44. You can display your exit routines associated with an exit using the JES2 command $D EXIT(nn),ROUTINES where nn is the exit number.

It is also possible to code an IEFUJV exit to set defaults during conversion.
