You may already know this, but JES2 in z/OS 2.1 does this using an entity name in the JESJOBS class. The entity name used is
JOBCLASS.node.jobclass.jobname
where jobname is the name of the job being submitted (not the submitter). If implementing a new check, you may want to be compatible with the entity name that was added (simplifies migration). More information is in the JES2 initialization and tuning books.
