Are you trying to change the JES2 input selection priority that
controls the position that a JOB is placed waiting to be executed,
the SRM PERFORMance group dispatching priority to allocate
CPU cycles while running, or the output selection priority?
Are you using SDSF or other tool to see the selection
priority and dispatching priority assigned to the JOB.
Which columns are you checking for selection priority,
execution performance group, and dispatching priority?
If DPRTY, also check SYS1xxx.PARMLIB(IEAIPSxx) and
maybe SYS1xxx.PARMLIB(IEAICSxx), and may be even
SYS1xxx.PARMLIB(IEAOPTxx)
SMF EXITs like IEFUJV are often used to adjust settings.
If your IEFUTL is extending time and you don't want it to,
then it should be modified by an assembler programmer.
