Need to find out how to remove an initial macro from
option 3.4 (data set list utility). The menu showed up once to set it,
but I can not get back to it to remove it.
Thanks for your time.

Then next time you edit or view something, that panel displays were you
may change or remove the initial macro.
OR
You can simply enter DSLSET to get the above.
It is all in HELP.
1) At Enhanced Member List (long line command and Prompt column)
2) Select a member for edit ("E") and place a slash ("/") in Prompt column
3) In entry panel pop-up, space over erroneously entered "Initial Edit
Macro"
Best way to proceed: Always keep the "Display Edit/View entry panel" turned
off (as Bill explained - Options drop-down or DSLSET command). Use the
Prompt column in the Enhanced Member list to see the "Edit/View entry panel"
if you really need to see it.
This technique works regardless of how the "Display Edit/View entry panel"
option is set - ON or OFF.

I see that you have already received info on how to do it but I found the 3.4 way very hard to remember since the need is infrequent at our site. I felt I wanted something that was easy to remember so I wrote a little rexx pgm started at our site by the command IMACOFF which I put in our site command table (there is also now an IMACON here...). Will enclose code at the bottom.
