TAAL'S 'OBSERVER' TAKES OFF
B'LORE - The inaugural flight of "Observer", the first aircraft
manufactured in the private sector, marked a milestone in the country's
aviation history on Thursday.
The 6-seater aircraft, produced by the Taneja Aerospace and Aviation
Ltd (TAAL) in Collaboration with Partenavia of Italy, is a version of
the P 68 series.

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan closed its Consulate in Bombay today.
A foreign office spokesman attributed the closure of the Consulate, which
was opened only recently with "immediate effect" , to the non-cooperative
and negative attitude of the Indian authorities."
