Karl,

You can turn on task statistics in the SYSGEN and check the last time someone executed a task. You'll probably need to PRLG more often and it does add a little overhead at task completion time. I don't know of a way to tell which DICTNAME/DBNAME they're using.

I haven't tried it in R14 but the syntax is still there. See section 5.3.2 in the System Generation manual.

I am looking for a way to record the last date that a user has signed
on to the CV. Is there a date field that is updated when a sign on
is successful? Be it primary or secondary dictionary? Is there a
user exit that would work to record the date when a user signed on?

This system is V12, going to V14 . Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hello Dick:

If you use an external security package like Racf, ACF2, and Top Secret, you
can get this information.....

I was just at Clemson University (Tiger Town) and they use RACF, when they
signon they actually get what you are asking for........
