We upgraded our test IDMS region from 12.01 to 14.1 tape eigj2m about 2 weeks ago. We were fine until this Saturday when we started getting errors with RHDCUCFZ and it causes us not to be able to get into our cv. We are using CICS as our TP monitor. When we cycle IDMS everything appears to clear itself and we are fine until both IDMS & CICS cycle again. Our techy DBA's have researched and found that #UCFCICZ has been reassembled and relinked since the upgrade.
The funny thing about this problem is when it started. This region had been under release 14 for a little over a week when it started. Typically this region get no activity on the weekend, so we really didn't encounter the problem until a few days later. Here is a copy of our idms job log:
IDMS DC201006 V2 T1 CV-STATUS PROGNAME SUBSCHEM --RU-TASK- --LOCAL-IDENT-- PRI
IDMS DC201006 V2 T1 U ABORT RHDCUCFZ ABT=D901 14 T200 55 254
IDMS DC201006 V2 T1 CV-STATUS PROGNAME SUBSCHEM --RU-TASK- --LOCAL-IDENT-- PRI
IDMS DC201006 V2 T1 U ABORT RHDCUCFZ ABT=S013 14 T200 54 254
IDMS DC201006 V2 T1 CV-STATUS PROGNAME SUBSCHEM --RU-TASK- --LOCAL-IDENT-- PRI
We always get the d901 error first thing when the cv comes up.
Has anyone else encountered this type of problem? Due to the timing of the problem (starting on a Saturday) we were thinking it may have something to do with the compressing of a loadlib. No other changes have been made to CICS or IDMS reciently.

If I remember correctly, UCFCICZ gets called when IDMSINTC starts, which
is probably in the PLT table for CICS to be run at CICS startup. The only
other time it gets called is when there is a terminal drop and CICS calls
DFHZNEP.
Did they just start using CICS storage protection?
Joe
It was determined to be due to a change in TCP/IP and CICS not getting the same
notification that a terminal had been abnormally disconnected, therefore not
sending IDMS the "clear user" message. If you want more details, please feel
free to contact me directly.
