Hi everyone,
We are getting an extra QUIT put into messages sent through SMTP.
What do I need to do to get rid of this? Is it something that I can
correct? We are running SMTP v2r3. This extra QUIT is been put in
every time a message goes through SMTP.

Thanks in advance
Cecil Riddle

I can't recall the actual PTF, but ordering and applying the latest
service for tcpip will fix this (RSU9503, orderable as PTF UN99923.
If you do not want to apply maintenance to all of TCPIP, then either
call the IBM Support Center, or search on IBMLink for the specific PTF
for this bug.
