Hi List
I play around with the RMF Spreadsheet Reporter. I have created a report
successfully.

My problem:
SMF input dataset contains one day ( 07/17/2007)
If I create a overview, the first interval is 07/17/2007-21.15.00

I solved my problem. 'Sort SMF Datasets' must be selected in
Settings/Options/General

Statistician's First Commandment: "Know your data and know it well"

Have you empirically and independently proven beyond any doubt that the
range of timestamps in the input dataset meets or exceeds all of the
desired reporting interval? Does the date range in the data make more
sense if you adjust it for GMT offset?

RMF is not my main topic. Therefore I use the RMF Spreadsheet Reporter to
investigate our LPAR performance.
But a sorted SMF dataset is mandatory for reports and overviews. I assumed
the Spreadsheet Reporter handles this automatically.

Hi,
if you have SMF data only from one system,a sort step is usually not
required (because the SMF records are stored in the right sequence in
the SMF dataset). Within the Spreadsheet Reporter, check the Settings-
>Options->General : Sort SMF Datasets option (check it to enable the
sort).
To ensure that the SMF input dataset contains data for the complete
day, you may either create a SUMMARY report, or use the RMF Utility
SYS1.SERBSCLS(ERBSCAN) to check the SMF data (timestamp of the SMF
records - CPU data is stored in SMF 70.1).

regards,
Peter Mailand, RMF Team

Little typo:The REXX exec is stored in SYS1.SERBCLS(ERBSCAN)
