A complete package of Amiga anti-virus.libraries for your program.

Authors: Different members of Safe Hex International

The SHI-AntiVirLib is a complete package to make your own super viruskiller
or to implement some of this anti-virus.libraries in your own utility
programs in a very easy way, if you are programmer.

A GLOBAL NEW VIRUS FIGHT
The purpose to a implement virus check too in programs, not intended to be
virus killers. The purpose is of course to fight more effective against
viruses. Many people don't care if they are spreading viruses and other
don't know where to get a good virus killer or are using a very old one.

The SHI anti-virus.libraries special intended to support: Copy programs,
disk packer programs, and file copy programs and of course to make your own
virus killer. To-day you will find more and more programs, which are not
intended as virus killers, but these are checking for viruses as additional
feature.

We in SHI are thinking, that you can see how important your support is if
you are using one of the following programs, which are using our
anti-virus.libraries:

* Virus Checker by Johan Veldthuis

* Virus Scanner by Gabriele Greco

* DMS 2.0 a Paradox cracker release (sorry!)

* Virus Info Base by Safe Hex International

* D-Copy by Stefan Bernbo

* X-Xopy by Cachet Software (commercial)

* MT-Copy by Gert-Jan Strik, and is doing a file- and
boot virus check while you are copying disks and
is extremly fast too supprised!!

ATTENTION: THIS IS THE FIRST COPY PROGRAM IN THE WORLD, WHICH
IS TESTING YOUR DISKS FOR ALL KNOWN VIRUS TYPES
WHILE YOU ARE COPYING DISKS !!!

Filename: FEA53.lha

FEA checks a LOT of things in memory, some are very important,
where some are less important and some are maybe not even
needed, but you can never have enough information when dealing
with viruses.

Here is a short summary of the things it does (Detailed
information can be found further in this manual) :

- It checks + shows ALL the main vectors used by viruses
(cold,Cool,...)

- It checks + shows some "important" values in Execbase

- It checks ALL.. sorts of interrupts, from Hardware interrupts,
to Execbase Interrupts (handlers AND SERVERS !), the
serverlist is even displayed on-screen !!!

- It shows + COMPLETELY checks ALL libraries and Devices, and
ALL..the Resources that can be checked.

- It shows ALL .....names of reset-proof resident modules (Very
useful !)

- It shows all the tasks running.

- The CLI programs also check the Internal Doslibrary and 2
important vectors in DosBase, this is VERY EXTRAORDINARY AND
RARE !!!

- It can wipe out ANY virus from MEMORY !!! by doing a reset !.

As you can or can't see, this program is the MOST powerful
Virus-DETECTOR available for the Amiga at the moment,
certainly when compared with other BOOTBLOCK checkers.

Program Name: SnapShot 2.2
Author: Ronny Oretap and Bjorn Reese, Safe Hex International
Archive name: SnapSh22.lha

SnapShot is a excellent security program special for harddisk and BBS users.

SnapShot is a `startup-utility` aimed at harddisk
users, and is a SUPPLEMENT (NOT a replacement) to a
good virus checker/killer. It can also be used by
floppy users, but is intended to be used on a
harddisk system. SnapShot is not only automatic,
it`s also much, much faster than a conventional virus
checker.

Snapshot will automatically check your harddisk for
viruses every day, week, month or whatever intervals
you decide. If the disk structure is not 100%
identical to what SnapShot expects to find you will
get a message telling you that something is wrong,
and you can do a more extensive check of the disk.
The advantage over other virus checker programs is
that SnapShot will do this automatically, say every
week. So if you forget(?) to check your harddisk for
viruses, SnapShot will do it for you!!

REMARK: That SnapShot will find ALL new unknown viruses too!!!

ATTENTION: SnapShot is special very excellent for BBS purpose
to avoid hacking by the new very used infiltrator
programs, which enables a hacker to take over your
bulletin board.

This version is bug fixed for Amiga 4030 & 4040.

A advanced text database and pictures of Amiga viruses

Authors: Erik Loevendahl, Alex Dimitriadis and other members
from Safe Hex International.

Virus Information Base (VIB) is a exactly what the title says. A
database from where you can get information on vira of any type.
Perhaps you have wanted to know how a certain virus hides in
memory or you might be seeking information on a virus which have
trashed your BBS. VIB have very anvanced search functions and
contain a lot of grabbed IFF pictures of real Amiga viruses. The
virus pictures are grabbed from infected Amigas, and you will see
these nasty ones just as your own Amiga have been infected.

All the Warn files contains texts describing various computer vira.

If you have any questions about any of the files, Safe Hex
International or virus in general don't hesitate to ask me.

Amiga greetings from
