I have come across references that say that Rothschild recruited
Weishaupt, and asked him to work on a plan for him. And there is
evidence that Weishaupt was involved with the plotting of the
French Revolution.
There are two books written about Weishaupt during his life. One
is John Robison's "Proof of a Conspiracy" (1798). The other is
Abbe Augustin Barruel's "Memoirs Illustrating the History of
Jacobinism" (1799). At that time, the Rothschild family would
not been of much historical value, and may have been omitted from
these books.
The other problem with researching this is that both Weishaupt and
the Rothschild's were involved deeply in secracy. In the case of
Weishaupt, he used the Freemason lodges as a place to both hide and
recruit to promote the "Illuminati". In essence, he used a secret
society to foster another secret society.
As for Mayer Amschell Rothschild and his descendants, it was very
necessary in his business to do things secretly. Furthermore, he
needed "agents" in as many places possible to get intelligence for
the family business.
Weishaupt needed financial backing. He supposedly had 3000 members
he had recruited by 1784. And I keep running into sources that say
that this is the House of Rothschild that provided this.
The problem is the secracy of both of these men make it hard to find
out much about him. In the case of Weishaupt, there is one source
that say that he died in 1811, and another that says he died in 1822.
What is the importance of these two men and the importance of finding
that Mayer Amschel Rothschild supported Adam Weishaupt financially?
The back of the dollar bill is the key. Where the "eye in the
triangle" and pyramid are there are the words "Novus Ordo Seclorum"
or "new world order", or new cycle for the ages.
How can something that would be associated with the illuminati (the
group that Weishaupt started anew in the 1770's be put on the dollar
bill in the 1930's without some powerful ally?
Though the following MAY SOUND ABSURD, it may be that IF THERE WAS
a conspiracy in the John F. Kennedy assassination, the starting point
of looking into that conspiracy would Adam Weishaupt and his May 1,
1776 plan for the destruction of all existing governments AND religions.
What evidence do I have? In 1963, the United States still minted
silver coins (though the money is the same as today). After Kennedy
was shot, plans were made to mint the coins with silver/copper composites.
1964 was the last year silver coins were minted for general circulation.
Since Kennedy was killed late in 1963, it took time to switch to the
new coins. I have heard that Kennedy wanted to put the United States
back on the gold standard (not the silver standard).
But regardless of the ties to Kennedy, Weishaupt's May 1, 1776 plan
was the basis of the "May day" celebrations in communist countries.
There is supposedly a statue of Weishaupt in Moscow.
Why were two books written about his May 1 of 1776 within 25 years?
And why have western historians neglected to pay attention to
Weishaupt?
Thanks,
Chris Hoss

A popular Latin slogan since before the Revolution. One could join the
Lincoln assasination to that of Julius Caesar by such reasoning (sic
semper tyrranus).

It's been on US currency off and on since the 1790s.

The planning for the changeover started in 1959. They were finalized in
'64. It was talked about in a Popular Science article in 1960.

They were in circulation until the late '70s.

Heard from who? We were still on the gold standard in '63 (though we were
off twice during his administration). "Gold standard" does not mean "make
coins from gold," it only means backing currency with it, a silly-assed
idea in a joint-stock world, anyway (unless, of course, you own gold).

Sorry. May Day was celebrated (on a smaller, unofficial scale) long
before Marx and Engles were born. It still is in some countries that were
never communist.
>Why were two books written about his May 1 of 1776 within 25 years?
Why were all the books about the Clinton administration written between
1993 and 1996? Another conspiracy, or exploitation of marketing
opportunity?
>And why have western historians neglected to pay attention to

Why should we pay any attention to him?
The annoying thing about conspiracy theories is that they depend on so
much trivia (the Latin slogan, the gold "standard," the planning for the
composite coin switch) nonsensical exposition (May Day), and coincidendal
occourances (two books on one subject in 25 years is hardly a trend) that
they become difficult to debunk. But start pulling at the threads and
they fall apart pretty readily.
If there WAS a huge, powerful, global conspiracy, how could all you
theorists still be around? Wouldn't they rub you out one by one, controll
all your communications, and all that kind of thing?
And lack of evidence is NOT proof of sucessful conspiracy (unless your
name is Oliver Stone).
Sorry. No soap. Dosn't work.

Of course, it may have also been that the American Revolution helped
promote revolutions. But Weishaupt was recruited in the early
1770's to do this work, and word, through the Free Masons, may have
leaked out about someone working on a plan for revolutions. Many
of the founding fathers were Free Masons.

In my research, I am finding a slightly different story. This is based
on Executive Order 11 and Executive Order 110. I don't know if this is
true, but it claims that the US was printing "US Notes" and not Federal
Reserve Notes. This would have taken the United States off the Federal
Reserve System.
It is interesting to note that the Federal Reserve Act was passed on
December 23, 1913. This was two days before Christmas (for Christians)
and a Senator Nelson Aldrach (spelling?) was the force behind this
legislation. This is the grandfather for Nelson Rockefeller.
I have also found a letter written during the Civil War for the Rothschilds
to 'graciously' set up the Central Bank as passed in 1962.

What "this?" What does the Federal Reserve have to do with the gold
standard?

Congress sometimes works that late in the year. So what?

I suppose you'll find significance in this, but I don't. Old Man
Rockefeller was an incredibly rich guy. He had a number of children who
married other rich people. So?

You will please point out for me what that has to do with the price of
tea. What 'central bank?' The Rothschilds are also quite wealthy. So?

Um...there was a real "plan" to the American Revolution? Then why did it
take so long and depend of French and Spanish assistance? And why were we
so broke at the end? Or is all this a parrt of the "conspiracy" too?
<< Many

They were also white aristocrats, males, and spoke English. Many were
college educated. Washington was paid by the English Crown for a time.
We should find connections there, too, you think?
Keep reaching for coincidences and you'll find them.
Please take this highly speculative thread to alt.illuminati, where it
belongs and indeed would be welcomed.
