The second-largest Christian church in the world, and the oldest
direct heir to the early church and Byzantine traditions, the
Orthodox Church is relatively unknown in the West. In this
illuminating course, renowned scholars, artists, experts, and
theologians, who interpret and shape today's Church focus on the
sacred art and thought of Orthodoxy.

Harilaos Papapostolou, chief chanter and one of the
foremost interpreters of Byzantine chant, with the choir
and the Rev. Tavlarides.
Efthalia Makris Walsh, a Ph.D. candidate in Greek Patristic
theology at the Catholic University of America, writes and lectures
on the Orthodox Church and Theology.
