This list was originally a reflection of the Helix-L mailing list when
it was hosted on a St. John's University BITNET computer beginning
December 1994 and ending June 1999, when the American University
BITNET<-->usenet mirror closed down. In the subsequent years, it has
attracted almost exclusively spam, so you if you want to get to the
real archives, you'll need to limit your search to those dates.

Complete archives for the period December 1994 (and perhaps back as
far as 1989 for some of the Helix-L's predecessor discussion groups on
GEnie and AOL) through the present do exist, but not in one place, and
not necessarily online. Contact the list administrator for details
(helix-l-request at the domain realpeople, then add a period and
'com'--address not clear-texted for anti-spam reasons!). Cheers,
