The 0305 error is a symptom that points to a problem with the object that
maintains the list of icons for the View by Kind/Name list. If you get this
error, open the Relation window, go to the Icon menu and select View by
Icon, then go back to the Icon menu and select View by Kind/Name. This will
cause the list to get rebuilt, and will solve the 0305 error.

from View by Icon to View by Kind and back again. It worked. give it a
whirl....
