Project Gutenberg Listservers

For those of you trying to subscribe to Project Gutenberg's
new listservers. If you want to unsubscribe from this one,
you can, as below, but not many more messages will be sent,
at least from this one.

[We have received enough support to move our Push The Panic
Button day back from January 1 to February 1. Thanks!! mh]

When I originally wrote this information a couple weeks ago,
the new listserver was answering to many different names...
including "list...@prairienet.org"...but various crashes &
burns have eliminated those aliases for the time being!!!!!

Therefore, some of your requests, perhaps as many as 100 or
more of them, have not worked. If you resub to "listproc",
as below, you should get on the new listserver lists. Your
new subscription will not get you two copies unless sent in
from a different machine than your previous requests.

To change your subscription address to Project Gutenberg
or to subscribe or unsubscribe

send email to:
list...@prairienet.org
say:
unsub gutnberg
unsub gutvol-l
Message MUST be sent from the address you subbed from, of course.

To sub from a new address, send message from there:
sub gutnberg [yourfirstname] [yourlastname]
If you want the volunteers' list
sub gutvol-l [yourfirstname] [yourlastname]

And for the old server:

You might need to ask your local gurus to help you send
these messages from the same exact address you subbed from.
