Setup85.exe -- Communication Problems

To all who have downloaded the setup85.exe from the TI archives,
at: ftp://archive.ppp.ti.com /pub/graph-ti/wlink

Has anyone made a connection via com2?

This is really puzzling me, because I have verified everything over here,
but can't get it to work.

I have checked the com2 port, via the older "link85" program and works
perfectly. No problems. I have checked my system.ini file to make sure
all is well there, no problems.

I have put another modem on com2 to check the port via windows through
another program, no problems. I have never had this happened before.
Any suggestions that I might have overlooked. I read the instructions,
but all I am getting is a "connection timeout" error message when I try
to receive or send.
