I have been having alot of trouble getting the link to work on my
computer. I installed the setup85.exe from the Ti Archives, and check
everthing, but the communications port on my com2 doesn't want to work.
I verified the com2 port, that the link is working with my other
"link85.exe" dos program and works perfectly. But in windows, it doesn't
work at all.

Any suggestions? I tried everthing I could, but via Windows, the com
link won't receive or send.

Have you gone into Control Panel's "Ports" applet to make sure that Windows
knows how your com2: is configured? In Ports' "Advanced" settings is where you
assign a given ports addresses, IRQs, et all... You might look in there and
make sure evrything matches. And if setup85.exe is a DOS file (have to
confess ignorance on this one--haven't really bother to get the program, so
this is just general Windows stuff that pops to mind) than in its .PIF file
you may try setting its Priorities to higher values to make sure it gets a
bigger piece of time pie--this is a fairly common problem using DOS comm
programs under Windows.
