I have been seeing postings come up in this group from students. I
don't have anything against students, since I am a teacher myself.
However, I thought this group was for teachers, who are using the
graphing calculators in the classroom for exchange of information?

Well, according to the FAQ (v94.08.05), Graph-TI allows "subscribers from
around the world to share information with each other relating to education
and the TI calculators," with the caveat that "only educational topics are
acceptable on Graph-TI; please do not post anything to Graph-TI unless it is
related to education."

Seems students can do this as well as anybody, and if I'm getting or giving
good advice on how to better use the TIs in the classroom, I don't
particularly care whether or not they're students.

Besides, you know the computer whizzes many students these days are; a lot of
them have a lot of great ideas on how to better use these things than we do!

i thought it was just a group for people to discuss using TI-8x's in
education. that would include teachers and students.
