The Jonsson Library of Government Documents has issued a 34 page
list of "British Public Record Office Archival Material at Stanford
University, with Appendices for UC/Berkeley and Selective U.S.
Libraries". The Stanford collection consists of about 10,000
microfilm reels of material in the British National Archive, and
represents the largest gathering of such material in the U.S. The
second largest collection lives across the Bay in Berkeley and makes
the San Francisco Bay Area a focus for British government archive
