An opportunity is available for a graduate student at the master's level to
undertake research on the development of digital elevation models for data
sparse regions. The work is being done in support of ongoing hydrologic
research in northern Canada. The research would be conducted under the joint
supervision of faculty from the Department of Geography at the University of
Saskatchewan and research scientists at the National Water Research
Institute. Note that students bringing NSERC or other major scholarships
will receive tuition bursaries and be given an opportunity to work as
teaching or research assistants.

If you are interested, please contact one of us as soon as possible for more
information.
