Ultima 8 - Get ready folks!

Sorry I have not posted until now, our E-Mail has been down.

I know some of you are keen to know, so I thought I'd post some
news on Ultima 8 - Pagan.

I work at EAUK and recieved the final build of Ultima 8 over
the weekend.

The game comes on two forms of media, either floppy or CD. The
CD version does *not* let you play from CD, it is just a form
of media to install from. On the CD is the main game, and the
English, French and German Speech Accessory Packs. A 'play from
CD' version will be available later in the year.
If you buy Ultima 8 on floppies, you will have to purchase the
main game and SAP separately.

The game seems to occupy 39 Megs on my hard disk. 4 of which are
for the SAP.

We have had our first review of the game from a mag in France who
gave it a 98%! Also, Origin's testing department have really
enjoyed testing it by all accounts, claiming that this is the
best Ultima yet. This is not meant as a U8 plug, this is just what
I have heard.

Expect to see it in the shops within a week or so.

Anyway, enough of this posting. I've got some heavy adventuring
ahead of me. I've got to get a head start on all you games-l
possee ;)
