What is FireExpo 97?

FireExpo 97 is the trade show event of Wildland Fire 97, which is also the
umbrella for the 2nd International Wildland Fire Conference to be held in
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, May 25 - 30, 1997. More than 600
international senior-level policy makers, research and technology experts,
public sector fire management directors and private sector corporate leaders
are expected to attend this high-level conference.

The event will provide an international trade showcase of wildland fire
equipment, services, and technology, for fire equipment manufacturers and
distributors, fire training organizations, service contractors, fire
suppresion agencies, and other consultants. Tradex Exhibition Centre is the
site for FireExpo 97, with 120,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space, and
unlimited outdoor space immediatley adjacent at the Abbotsford International
Airport. In addition to the exhibits, an extensive program of ground and
aerial equipment demonstrations is planned. Seminars and product information
sessions will be ongoing throughout the event.
