DESCRIPTION
In response to customer demand, aggressive discounts on PATHWORKS licenses
are now offered to qualified education customers in the form of 100-unit
license packages. New part numbers have been created for the following
PATHWORKS licenses:
o PATHWORKS for DOS client
o PATHWORKS for OS/2 client
o PATHWORKS for Macintosh client
o PATHWORKS for DOS (TCP/IP) option
o PATHWORKS for OS/2 (TCP/IP) option
Each part number represents a bundle of 100 license units of the product in
question, and carries a list price which is 40-50% less than the list price
of the conventional single-unit license part numbers. These license bundles
are then eligible for an additional 50% discount through the Education
Market Basket program.
Example:
The PATHWORKS for DOS client license carries a single unit list price of
$205. Under this special education program, the list price of the 100-unit
package is $10,000. With the Education Market Basket discount of 50%
applied, the price of 100 licenses is $5000, or $50 per license.
