Does anyone know if it is possible to convert from Promethean lessons to
SMART lessons. We have both SMART boards and Promethean boards and just
got a SMART board to replace a Promethean board. People who used the old
Promethean board are hoping to just convert their lessons. Any chance this
will work, or do they have to recreate their lessons for SMART?

David,
Your question intrigued me so I looked online. Here's one answer I found.
Granted, this was written in 2007 - so things might have changed.

Re: Promethean to Smart conversion tool.
SMART Board software 9.5 can convert ActivStudio 2.5 files into the
Notebook file format.
1. From Program Files\SMART Board software launch the
PrometheanFileConverter.exe.
2. Select File -> Import
3. Change ‘Files of Type:’ to ‘All Promethean Files’ on the Open
dialog
4. Browse to an appropriate file, and Click <Open>
5. The file will open in a new NB file (i.e. – it will not append to
existing pages, if you have data in NB, it will prompt you to save)
This is for Windows only.
