Student Names on Email Policy?

Good morning,

We are tweaking our district policy on student names on email. We do not
allow this; however, our Board would like guidelines on transmitting
student information. The guidelines should include emailing student
information within district (including school calendars), email
correspondence with parents, email correspondence with students, and
electronic transfers of information.

As we explore this, we're interested in points of references from others.
What is your school or district doing with respect to this policy issue?
