Classmates vs Netbooks vs Macbooks vs ??

I realize that these may have very different uses/applications in education.
Anyone using a variety of mobile solutions? Any advice, reviews on using
them in a K-12 school? Any information would be appreciated. I'll be
discussing the merits of the three of them with the technology committee in
few days.
