ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST The corporate headquarters of America's largest
stockholder-owned water utility with 4000 employees in 21 states has a
challenging opportunity available for an Environmental Scientist. The
successful candidate will be responsible for research in all aspects of
drinking water quality and treatment. Project responsibilities include
implementation of pilot scale treatment studies and evaluation of field data
involving new technologies or water quality issues. In order to be
considered, a candidate must have a minimum of an MS in environmental
science, engineering, chemistry, or biology, with a strong background in
research and a minimum of 3 years' experience in potable water supply.
Preferred skills include operational experience, publication in
peer-reviewed journals, and a Ph.D. The American Water System offers a
beginning salary range of $38,000 to $50,000 and an excellent benefit plan
including ESOP, 401(K), and tuition assistance. The position is located in

TECHNICIAN Seeking individual to be responsible for operation and
maintenance of soil and groundwater maintenance systems. Some field sampling
req'd. DMR report prep necessary. NJ licensed N1 or higher operator & OSHA
