First of all, Bouchercon WAS fun, and the thing that made it the most fun was
meeting so many DLers there. Hi, all!

GOING OUT IN STYLE by Joyce Christmas is an enjoyable read. We readers get to
stand beside the sensible Lady Margaret Priam and wander through the world of
the wealthy, peeking into closets full of skeletons and other attractions. We
know there's a bad guy, but fortunately it's hard to tell whom to suspect.
It's a fast read and--as a traditional cozy should--provides a couple of
hours' comfortable distraction.

THIEF OF SOULS by Darian North is dark and alarming. We can easily put
ourselves in the protagonist's situation. He's an innocent caught in a
nightmare world in which his wife has been snatched from him--although not
against her will. How in the world can he handle this? Will he survive as the
same man who entered the situation, or will it destroy him? North spins a
complex tale--a suspense thriller, more than capably handled.

DETECTING WOMEN POCKET GUIDE, 3rd EDITION by Willetta Heising. This book is so
darn cool--a terrific resource for the insatiable fan who wants not only to
read all of a series but to read them in order. I just looked up Joyce
Christmas and found out that GOING OUT IN STYLE is number nine in the Lady
Margaret series, but that Christmas has another series--Betty Trenka. We can
also expect Margaret Chittenden's DON'T FORGET TO DIE sometime next
year--number four in the Charlie Plato series. Bravo, DWPG3!!!
