Eye Con '99, a Private Eye Writers of America Convention will be held July
8-11,1999 at the Adam's Mark Hotel in St. Louis, MO. It will be hosted by
Robert J. Randisi and Christine Matthews.

Registration is $110 and includes admittance to all panels, interviews, the
dealer's room, two continental breakfasts and the PWA Life Achievement buffet
luncheon.

Other events include the Lemp Mansion Mystery Dinner (what could be more fun
than bumming around an old mansion searching for a killer with a cadre of
private eye writers?), historic walking tour on Laclede's Landing, and the
Black and White Ball which will culminate in the awarding of the prestigious
Shamus Award.

I agree with Sinclair. For those who attended
the first EyeCon in Milwaukee, this would be
a no-brainer, but for those who didn't, EyeCon
is a chance to meet the nicest subset of mystery
authors extant on the planet: those who write
private-eye fiction. We also drink, play poker,
and dance till dawn.
