Cochlear Implants Information needed Pro/Cons

Hello

I need information on Cochlear Implants. I am specifically looking
for the lastest information regarding the pro and cons of the implants
to newborns, and toddlers. Specifically those born deaf ( not hard of
hearing), and those who lose their hearing before age 5.
