Subject: Desktop Standards

I have been charged with chairing a group at my institution which will
address the issue of standards for desktop workstations (vendor, hardware
configurations, operating systems, LANs, application software, etc). Has
anyone out there in CUMRECland particiapted in this type of process? If yes,
I'd love to hear your war stories. I would also appreciate the URLs of any
web sites which address this topic.

Thanks in advance.

Kathy
