CUMREC 1999 - Ground Transportation

Hi All,

I checked the web to see what ground transportation is offered from the
airport. Star Shuttle is listed and it is suggested that you make
reservations. Well, I just hung up after being on hold for over 30
minutes!! Has anyone made contact with Star Shuttle? How long do you
have to be on hold before they get to you?

I called Star Shuttle last week and they said they were being purchased by
another company and would take no reservations after Friday 4/30/99. I
then called the hotel (San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter) and they said
shuttle reservations are not required--the shuttle leaves every 15 minutes
from the airport baggage area.

The City of San Antonio did not renew the ground transportation contract
with Star Shuttle. The new transportation company is SA Trans 210-281-9900.
They answered on the first ring. :-) Looking forward to seeing you all at
