I am trying to remove the gasket from glass chamber slides, and I
am having problems. It leave enough residue that when I put the coverslip
on top, it does not work well. I amd using Lab-Teck 8 chambers, Nunc. The
advice from the tech guy there was to cut the gasket all the way through
at one corner to lift it clean. Well, it has not work extremly well yet.
Let me know if you have any sugestions,
Thanks,

The same has happened to me when using those glass chamber slides, with
the consequence of breaking the slide many times (especially when I was
loosing my patience!...). I have opted for using the plastic ones
(Permanox) instead, also from Lab-Tek, and they work great. You can easily
peel off the gasket. Of course, you have to need to make sure that your
cells grow and stick stick well on the plastic surface (which I generally
found it was not a problem).
Try them! I think you'll be satisfied.
