Ken, Congratulations!

I think that if I ever get married they'll be singing "How do you solve a
problem like Anita?" (a la The Sound of Music).

Actually, speaking of weddings, they play some pretty odd background music
(IMHO) in some of the movie weddings I've seen. Like the song I mentioned in
Sound of Music. And like Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend in Gentlemen
Prefer Blondes. Just two examples off the top of my head.

Oh, and I really LIKED Liz in Taming of the Shrew.

My two cents for the day, before I go home and pour myself a tall cool one.

Anita,

I'm glad someone else thought that song was pretty corny for Maria's wedding
in "The Sound of Music." I mean, it was great during the trumpet fanfare just
prior to the lyrics...but really! Here's this magnificent cathedral with the
bride walking down what has to be the longest aisle in history in a gorgeous
dress...at this point, I can remember as a little girl seeing it in the
theater (my older brother was forced to take me very much against his will)
thinking that that was what I wanted my wedding to be like...and even at the
age of 5 or 6, I thought the lyrics were pretty stupid.
