Ken,
In case you hadn't noticed, there was no "church" when Christ walked the
Earth. There were only a few believers who didn't even have a name for
themselves. Christ never spoke to a "church"; He spoke to His followers,
those who believed on His name. No, they weren't the Baptists, but they
certainly weren't Catholics either, nor any other named group, just
believers.

>"born-again" to describe what happens to them in the Holy Sacraments. And that

No. Sorry. Christ said,"..do this in REMEMBRANCE of Me." Not "in PLACE
of" or "in order to reach Me". Our repentance and acceptance of God's
love saves us. The Eucharist REMINDS us of that love.

and the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from
>all sin (just as the Bible says!!). Yep, I'm a born-again Catholic. I once
>was a Baptist, now I am a Catholic, was blind but now I see (I keyed that last
>sentence in to the tune of "Amazing Grace").

Now, now, no need to be obnoxious here. I have had my views of
Catholicism changed (for the better) greatly in the past few months. I'd
hate for you to say something to set that back. I believe that there are
many people who "are Cattholics technically but who aren't truly saved,
just as I'm quite sure that there are many in my Baptist church who won't
taste God's glory. You're saved by your faith, not your actions
(sacraments).
