This notice is to alert you about:

-- a request to join the volunteers who help manage the CFS-L /
alt.med.cfs group

-- the Action for CFIDS / M.E. on-line discussion group

-- other helpful on-line resources such as the CFS FAQ document, the
CFS-NEWS newsletter, the CFS / M.E. Information web page, etc.

Change the Name

Do you think the NAME of this illness is an important issue? Whatever
your views, be sure to fill out the Change the Name survey and send it in
as soon as possible. You can find it on the web at
http://www.cais.net/cfs-news/name.htm or you can obtain a copy by e-mail
by sending an email message which says GET CFS NAME to address
LIST...@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU . Results will be sent to health officials
who are considering a name change.

Help manage the CFS discussion group

We need volunteers! Help manage the CFS discussion group by monitoring,
moderating and giving technical advice. The CFS group is run by
volunteers, and it will only be what you can help make it!

PLEASE volunteer by sending e-mail to CFS-L-...@LIST.NIH.GOV . For
more information about the volunteer duties, see

Action for CFIDS / M.E.

Help to fight for the CFIDS / M.E. community! Join the Action for CFIDS /
M.E. discussion group! Promote May 12 Awareness Day, partipate in Chnage
the Name issues, propose your own projects. You can post messages to the
discussion group by e-mail by sending to CFI...@AMERICAN.EDU or to our
newsgroup at alt.health.cfids-action. Our action information document is
